I am buying car insurance for a 21 year old child who will attend graduate school out of state. Primary address will still be with me. Car will be in my name; child/student will be listed as primary driver. Child/student will live in an apartment while at graduate school. Does the insurance company need to know in what state the student will be?

One of my friends works a minimum wage job, and his car insurance for one year costs more than he paid for his 87 Mazda truck. He paid $1300 for the truck and his insurance is $1800 per year. Between insurance and gas, he is working just to drive the truck, he told me he is just going to drop the insurance on the truck, because the truck is a piece of crap and is not worth $1800 for just basic coverage. I tried to talk him out of it, but he said he is not paying that price to insure a piece of junk.

accident was other parties fault her insurance triple a repaired my car but i think they should have totaled my toyota instead of fixing. The other car involved was a ford explorer who backed into me in a parking lot and smashed my right front and side bumper.

Money is really tight right now, and my car insurance is around $120 a month with Liberty Mutual. I’m looking at other agencies that offer great service and are less expensive. Is Geico good? Are there any other agencies I should look at? My record isn’t too bad. One speeding ticket.

I have tried everything to get chear car insurance at 17 but it seems to stay in the 2500+ Area….

How can I get it cheaper?

I have had my license for a month but feel frustrated that I can’t get a car because the insurance is too high!!

Can anyone help?
