i m under 18 and my parents are divorced, so how do i do my car insurance?

It doesn’t make sense I am willing to pay them extra $$$ to fully cover an older car. You think they would gladly take the money to cover something that isn’t worth as much as a brand new car. Why won’t they cover it I guess is the REAL question.

I’m really new when it comes to car insurance. Does anyone know of a better car insurance I can get? Any tips or information will be very helpful, too. I’m underage and in CA.
