If your brand new car gets damage totally. what does the insurance company pay for?
How long after buying brand new car does the insurance consider it not new any more?

Your insurance company does not have anything to do with sales tax, and destination charges. Check your policy for what type of coverage you have.
Your car probably dropped 1 to $2000 when you drove it off the lot. Your insurance company will pay Blue Book value unless you have GAP coverage.
This depends ENTIRELY on your individual policy. The car is ‘not new’ as soon as you SIGN the paperwork to by the car. you don’t even need to actually SEE the car. I have NEVER had an insurance policy that included ‘full replacement cost’. The premiums are too high.
I have met this kind of problem before, here is the resource I found useful.http://car-insurance.online-helpers.info/car-insurance-for-free.htm
